Guitarz! is a full-featured program for beginning to advanced guitarists.
It includes a massive chord and scale dictionary database with thousands of chord and scale diagram images. Each diagram can be played on the computer with each note highlighted on the fretboard as it is sounded. Every chord in the database has been "designed" by a guitarist. None of the chords has been "computer generated" and all of the chords show finger positions. You can also view the arpeggio of any chord.
Guitarz! features tabs that the user can click on to instantly access each module of the program. The user can have several sets of chords and scales loaded at the same time, be working on a set of chords they are designing, have a page of chords and scales they want to print, and be creating a chord progression made up of any chord in the database or their own chord creations (in any tuning) and switch between these pages instantly.
The PlayPage module has a feature that allows the user to "step" through any chord or single note progression one chord or note at a time. The notes to play will be shown on the guitar fretboard with finger positions and numbers designated. With the Chord Design module, you can find the names of chords you play but may not know what they're called. You can also design chords in any tuning and get help by displaying color-coded interval boxes on the fretboard.
The program includes useful sample files for each page.
In effect, this program allows you to instantly find thousands of chords, scales and arpeggios. You can hear and see them being played on an animated guitar fretboard. Easily find mystery chords or design your own chords in any tuning. You or your teacher can create chord or single note based practice songs (sequences/progressions) with the standard chords or your own chord creations.
Perfect for beginners, pros, and teachers.
